Hi everybody!

Why isn't anybody posting on our lovely debate blog! I'm retired already!

But still, let me update everyone on what we've been up to.

We ended 2008 with the VJC invites. The team won 2 rounds! :) Guided by our lovely coach Xuwen.

Before VJC invites were the HCJC invites. We didn't break, but Alison got ranked 6th in the top 20 best speakers, with Martha closely behind with 10th! Kudos to everyone!

We've just entered a new year, with new beginnings, so let's work hard and achieve more this year! The green badge will be entering as a swing team for the sec 4 inter-class debates, and Megan, Alison, Martha, and Yvette would be taking part in the MFS (?) budget debates next thursday. Good luck to all!

& let's not forget that JGs is approaching real soon...

Well I feel really really guilty because the blog have been so dead for the past year. So as a farewell present, I've got us a new skin! It is not made by me though. I hope you guys like your new blogskin!

Well the Sec 4s are leaving, and we're passing on our throne to the sec 3s now. Carry it well and bring glory to SNdebate! You guys have one last year here so put in all you've got and work towards the finish line and end it with a bang.

Sec 3s, Alison, Amelia, Sharon, Shirley, you all have grown so much in the past year and a half. Now is the time for you guys to take over as seniors and set a role model and example for the rest of your juniors. I believe in you all and I'm sure that you guys will be able to accomplish what we didn't manage to accomplish.

Sec 2s, Martha, Megan, Sharon, Swee en, Yvette, I'm very happy with your performance at U14s. Do continue to work hard and do not let your momentum die down. Hopefully Xuwen's and my intense training has build up a strong foundation in you all. You guys are the future of SNdebate and I will look forward to watching you all at JGs one day.

Ok i shall not be too long-winded. I've been very proud to be your captain for the past year and I hope I have left something behind in one way or another :)

An annoucement to make! We (me, alison, shirley, dorothy) gotten in to the televised round of the 2nd season of Arena! :)

Many thanks to Xuwen for coming down for numerous preps and even staying over the day before, Miss Fazi for all the administration work and supporting us for both the audition rounds, Deborah for coming down during our training sessions even during her Os, our supporters and everyone who supported us in one way or another.

a queen for all seasons

i'm glad the sec2s did well for mayor's ranking round and seemed to have enjoyed waking up damn early to trudge all the way to ajc. and i hope you guys are enjoying yr holidays! esp since half of it's already gone haha. (my 2 younger siblings are at home all day and it's driving me crazy, i can't wait for them to go back to sch). it's strange to think i shall have no more june holidays ): my days as a student are sadly numbered.

i'm getting a laptop! it's the apple macbook and it's very pretty and i shall see if i can bring it to our next session to show it off. and if your hands are clean and you ask very nicely, i'll even let you touch it haha.

speaking of which, there are no training sessions scheduled, and no spars for the junior team --mostly becos it's really difficult to coordinate, what with various ppl off on holidays. so except for weds 21st june, i probably won't see you for debate-related activities.

Hello everyone! :D

This is my first time blogging too!Feels strange and foreign...publishing my thoughts on a blog for everyone to see,can't get use to it yet.But I have a lot to say.Haha,I will probably never own a blog though,looks to me like high maintainence stuff and a big no-no.
